Default Ammo Belt

These are some pics of an ammo belt my uncle had given to him recently.
Has anyone seen anything like this before or have any info?
It is supposedly from WWI and possibly British.

British. Cavalry issue, Boer war period, 1890s - 1900. Very collectable. Not sure for US but possibly +/- $300.
