Default 1901 Forehand hammerless 32 S&W long 5" brl topbreak

Description: Hopkins & Allen Forehand Model 1901 hammerless top-break revolver - .32 S&W Long - 5" barrel. - About fine to exc. condition - Missing front sight. 90% nickel; functioning; very good F&W hard rubber brips.

Can anyone give me a measurement on how tall the front sight is coz I don't have one?

I see ammo runs from 100'lb ME to 130'lb. Anyone shooting these? I know they were designed for BP, but it seems the cowboy guys are shooting smokeless. I'm guessing they are loaded down for the older guns that will chamber them.

Thanx...
