Finally a great forum! - The Firearms Forum

I think I have found a home. I left a so called conservitive forum a few days ago for good. Not only were my posts ridiculed, but so was my service to my country and the service of others. As I read the posts of people in this forum and the replies, my heart swelled with pride, that such people still exist. I am in awe of how every one of you can disagree in a civil and informative manor. Oh, I am sure the fur flies once in a while, but that's only natural. I am neither conservative nor liberal, but I am fanaticle about preserving the constitution and the Bill of Rights. I feel, as some of you do, that Obama will preserve most of our rights, but the 2nd amendment is in trouble. I feel he will appoint liberal judges to SCOTUS during his tenure, and they will do his dirty work for him. We need to do everything within our power as Americans and Patriots to legally stop the infringement of any of our rights. Write your congressmen and senators, talk to people and friends, get the word out, as I am sure many of you already do. I am a published author and I have put a link to my web sight in my profile. Yes the fur does fly around here once in awhile, but in a civil and dignified manner.

Some are a bit more "constitutional" than others, but the core beliefs are there.

Welcome aboard. I'm not one who believes Obama supports peoples rights, but I guess we'll see. If he's for the "fairness" doctrine, so much for the first amendment. Sorry, but I don't trust the man at all.
