If any of you happened to watch the "historical event" or the swearing in of the new president, did you happen to notice;

For the first time in the history of the United States and the Swearing of a new president of this country,
THERE WAS NO BIBLE PRESENT.
As far as I could see there was not even one in the room but certainly in the hands of neither the justice administering the oath or the President elect, Obama. Both had raised their right hands and their left hands hung at their sides, EMPTY.

Truly sad and only the beginning. Stay tuned, it WILL get worse.

The press was making a huge deal out of the fact the Obambabababa was supposed to use the same Bible that Lincoln used. If you're right, then that answers the debate as to whether he's Muslim or not. A good Muslim wouldn't swear on a Bible. *sarcasm ON* But I thought he was a Christian *sarcasm OFF*

I don't remember seeing a Bible on the brief footage I saw of the swearing in, but certainly if such a break from tradition occured wouldn't the media be buzzing about it ? I don't know, but this sure is an interesting point. I'd like to see this verified.

Barack Obama is a Christian like Arnold Schwarzenegger is a republican. Political expediency is the name of the game. Obama only became involved in Wrights church to expand his contact base for his "community organizing" activities. Prior to that his only religous affiliation had been with Islam. Think about it; He had a hard enough time just being a mixed-race candidate. Think he would have had a chance if he said he was muslim?

This post interested me and I wanted to find videos of the swearing-in to verify whether a Bible was used or not. I finally found a video on youtube that confirms that Obama in fact did place his hand on a Bible. Watch this and you will see that at the beginning just as he raises his hand, he places his left hand on a Bible which his wife is holding.

I don't like Obama and I'm sick that he was elected but we can't allow false rumors and myths to destroy our credibility. There is enough bad about the man that we don't have to make up any more.

There was no Bible used at the do over swearing in the next day. That may be what is being talked about.

PROVE for me beyond a shadow of a doubt that the man isn't a muslim.

His middle name is a muslim name, heck, his whole name is. FACT

He was born to a muslim, raised and trained as a muslim. FACT

He is sympathetic to muslims (quotes in his book). FACT

I don't trust him as far as I can throw him, and that's just on that ONE issue.

The ONLY thing he wants for America - is to become a country of slaves for him, and the elites who are presently running this country.

IMHO, the 'do-over' was to provide a voice track to over-dub on the official video of the Corination. 'Swearing in' not needed according to XX Amendment, as he became president at 1200.

He did use the "So help me god," line at the end which is not required.

As far as I'm concerned the man is a Christian, we wouldn't share that many theological opinions but thats okay because I know the same is true with most of you, my family, my roommates, etc.

To be honest, I don't care one way or the other. My problem is the fact that he can't ever seem to make his mind up about anything. Is it too much to ask from our elected leaders they just be HONEST and STRAIGHTFORWARD with us? Oh wait, yeah it is too much to ask of them

A lot of folks (even my sainted Mom) think I"m a little extreme on Obama. I feel deep down that I'm right and he is a monster. Look at his appointees, they are all crooks, kooks or rabidly left wing. They are going to make us pay for 8 years of Bush.

Personally, I'm closer to greahaven here that I'd like to admit.

But, I think he is a radical and a muslim at heart. At the very least, he is a left wing radical Socialist and ain't that bad enough?
