Name on barrell: H. Schmidt Ostheim / Rhon Made In Germany Serial Number under barrell: 447xxx Marking under cylender: HS 1.69 (the HS was in a double circle looking thing) On the bottom of the grip: LA Distributors New York City, N.Y. It is a single action .22lr 6 shooter. I am going to try it out at the range tomorrow. I will try to post pictures if I can get the digital camera to work. Typical 1960's German single-action .22, very inexpensive then and still cheaper now... Probably $50 in working condition. I dont remember if that gun is the same as the RG 63 or not, but its close.
