Eyepiece for Nikon Spoting Scope - The Firearms Forum

I have a Nikon RA II spoting scope that I bought a few years ago. It has a 15 - 45X zoom eyepiece. I learned yesterday that with my advancing age and generally poor eyesight I can no longer readily see 22 cal holes at 200 yds with this scope. I would like to replace the current eyepiece with a 20 -60X and am hoping that someone on the forum will have a source.

I tried the Nikon website and found it useless. That has to be one of the most user unfriendly sites supported by a major company that I have ever visited. I also checked with OpticsPlanet with no luck.

The eyepiece that I want was was originally made for this model scope. Nikon still makes one for the newer RA III but I couldn't find if they would fit my older scope.

All help appreciated.

Have you tried a phone call to Nikon ?
