Default Stimulus payment

My wife and I just got our notices yesterday -
By the end of next month, we will receive $250 each as our portion of the multi-trillion dollar economic stimulus plan of BO.

let's see -
200 million adults -
2 billion would be $10 each
200 billion would be $1000 each
2 trillion would be $10,000 each -

Who is getting the other $9,750 of my $10,000 share?

Oh well -
spending $10,000 each to get us $250 is about par for DC -

O bah ma
O bah ma
O bah ma

If I get one, I will have to go out and stimulate the economy by buying some ammo or putting a down payment on a new gun.

Yep, it's about par for the course. Creating real wealth in America like we did in 2001 is so old. We need change.

Funny, off topic story... My son is learning animal names and what sounds they make.

You show him a cow... He says, "cow."
What does a cow say? "Mooooo"

You show him a sheep... He says, "sheep"
What does a sheep say?...

I might be a horrible parent but I'm trying to get him to say "YES WE CAN!" My wife is going to kill me if he ever does it.

Yep fellow seasoned citizens and SSI recipiants...it's true. I got my statement in the mail today that I will receive 1/100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
of the Econimic Stumbling Package. In the statement, bullit point #9 reads as follows: (This is from Michael J. Astrue, Commissioner, Social Security Administration)
"We will not count the one-time payment as income for SSI purposes. If you keep the one-time payment for 9 months or more, it will count toward your SSI resource limit."

The statement has nothing to do with me - but - HUH? Like, you folks drawing SSI can't keep it or what???

More GOVERNMENT GOBBLEDEGOOK. (No offence ment to turkeys)

Shh, not so loud! If the government ever realizes that they only wasted 97.5% of your money, this program will be stopped immidiately, or they will form a sub-committee to waste the remaining 2.5%.

After Obama, and his budget, we should be paying around $100,000 in taxes per employee, each year, just to meet the interest on the amount we are in the hole for!

ponycar17, I love that story! Yes we Can!!!

Yeh, I got my patronizing notice too. He so obviously wants to buy the support of seniors it isn't funny. Typical dem...appeal to each sub category of the population to create a dependency class that will keep you in power. Well I'm not buying it. Yeh I'm retired on social security disability due to back injuries and as I've paid into it all my life I accept the payments but I'm not interested in being the recipient of anyones hard earned money by way of redistribution of wealth. I have half a notion to tell him to stick his check where the sun don't shine.

Don't send it back!
He will only give it to some hog with it's snout deep into the public trough, who will gladly spend it on booze or smokes not covered by their food stamps.

Use it to buy a gun, or ammunition -

I do not believe it is a "TAX CUT" It is a advance on your return that you will file for this year. They did the same crap last time and called it a rebate check and got 3/4 of the population thinking they were getting a gift from Uncle Sam (YEA RIGHT!) Then they found out that was that much less they were going to get back and still didn't get it. The government does not own anything to give away we the people do! Until we the people rise up and stop this it will just keep getting worse. Politicians on both sides are bought in sold by special interest groups. They do not care about the general working class other than taxing us to death. Funny thing, in the book of revelation USA is not mentioned at all!
Just my taxed 2 cents worth.
