Well, just to add fuel to the fire -

7.62 Warbird by Lazzeroni..................

45S, Theres one bad thing about the 7.62 warbird. You can only use Lazzeroni cases which cost about $50 for 20rnds of empty brass or $100 for 20rnds of loaded brass. I followed a Post about them on another board about them. There is no parent case for which they follow. Lazzeroni has his own custom built case and case head size is set inbetween 2 diffirednt cals. which 2 i forgot now and the guy that had the rifle was having trouble with the cases spliting on the first load. When I had my custom rifle built I was going to load it with tghis road til I look at the case and shell prices. in my book thats more then I'd want to pay just to get started.

If ya really want to add fuel to the Fire I'll look my info over another .30 cal. Lazzeroni has which isn't listed in the books and you've got to call Lazzeroni to order it.

It's pushing 160(?)grns bullets at over 4,000FPS The recoil from the rifle was greater then most rifles on the market. By what i read it seemed like a mean round, but a barrel burner. I'll find my book and get the specs of the rifle for ya to check out.

That's was attracted me, initially, to the .338 Lapua. When I looked at the rest of the information about the round, I figured, "maybe if I win the lottery" was a better answer for it!

There's nothing wrong with the Lazzeroni, or the Dakota, calibers, except the price of brass.
The Dakota calibers, in addition, add some value, in

1) Most cases, you enlarge the bolt face/extractor, and cleanup the chamber, without having to set the barrel back.
and,(2) End up with a Non-belted(headspace on the shoulder, like you had goood sense) cartridge that wears out barrels before cases.
Not a bad trade, really.
Oh, BTW, you get about 10-12% in MV, in the bargain!

well no more gun for now. Have to get a new car and my insurance rates are gonna be hell because I doubt this will be on comprehensive. even though a roadway defect was mostly to blame, even the police agreed and wrote that in. so pray that its not counted as a collision.

Just don't claim any property damage. Without property damage, your rates should not change for one accident.

this is my 2nd and I am young. this was a result of a roadway defect, but the insurance company has to agree. I was not going to file it with insurance and part it out. But the towing company are scumbag assholes.

I don't know they are f**king scum bags. They were trying to tell me I could not take my stereo out until the insurance got there, only 5 minutes before the insurance told me to take it out because the car can't be locked and windows are missing. GEEE I wonder if the tow company wanted to steal it? After I told them I talked to my insurance they insisted that I had to leave it in because of the towing fee and all, so I threatened to call the better business beuro and then call up my father's boss at Statefarm (who would know the laws pertaining to the towing company and what not). Then they finally shut up. They were trying to tell me that 3 out of 4 of my rims were bent because one had scratches, the scratches were from a car wash though... So I checked one rim, the one at the worst spot, it was fine. SO I am getting them and putting the old ones on.

The tow place prolly wanted to take the rims too. But without the keylug to fit on the wrench they are impossible to take off.

Insurance is most likely going to put it on comprehensive. I would have taken the car home, only theres no place to put it, and my neighborhood has crap against things like this.
