That's ridiculous! They weren't thinking at all! My mind was trying to figure out what kinds of pressures would be involved in fireing an arrow from the barrel. How much powder would it take to get the arrow up to enough speed to work at all, and could the gun handle the pressures. An arrow weighs a lot more than a bullet!

I agree, this is a completely pointless product. Should you want a cross bow, buy a cross bow.

Frankly folks who have ideas and the ability to not only produce items, but market them as well get my vote all day long. The whiners of we (USA) don`t produce anything/anymore just burns my azz.
I remember when bow hunters whined until they`re little tummies ached about a crossbow season.......how dare anyone use a feakin crossbow. They even whined about the handi-capped folks using one, yes bow hunters who could no longer enjoy then sport of hunting anymore-and wishing to use a crossbow. Frankly it`s a great idea, it allows a one gun/rifle/weapon owner to complete a season from primitive to modern or just have fun, but slapping a .50BMG on your AR15 platform is ok, never mind the fact it will ruin your lower?? Gets the A+ vote from me. Edited to highlight the word, "fun." And what about........"just because I can" anyone ever seen that response to why and what for????? I couldn't agree more with the above comment, as long as the products are well thought out, and fulfil a need. My feeling about this product however is it is neither.

Tranter, I see this was placed in the "Self Defense" forum. What are your plans?
I guess your options for personal / home defense weapons in the UK are a bit different from what I'm used to...
