Keep it clean and oiled up and you should be OK. Norinco is good starter 1911.
Also bear in mind, many 1911's have a break in period so be patient through the first 500 rounds or so. Congrats, glad to have you here. ![]()

I can see that
Thanks for the warm welcome guys I never had a 1911 jam on me because maintenance. Had one jam on me because I didn't leave the mag fully loaded for awhile to break in the spring. |
