Default New PT 1911 AR High Polished Stainless Steel

Hi everyone,

Im new to the forum and new to the Semi Auto world. I have always been a fan of the 1911 models. I saw a shiny new Taurus 1911 PT AR with mother of pearl handle. I think that it is beautiful. Looking forward to being on the forum.

Thanks

I bought a PT1911 Nov.2008 put abt. 400 rounds through it in 2 months .It wouldn't shot to center no matter how I drifted the sight It shot 3.5 in. left at 50 ft. The slide stop quit locking on an empty mag. in less than 100 rounds.I called Taraus they said send them the stop for replacement Two calls and 6 months later I still haven't got it .put in an Ed Brown stop & found a dealer with a used colt 1991A1 and a mind to trade . It shoots less than 2 in. at 25 yds. at P.O.A. Taraus did shoot ok just not where it looked.

How is the polished PT1911 holding up. I just bought one today (had to special order). Should have it next week. I can hardly wait. I almost bought the 191101ALRL that includes a laser light. I will be adding a laser/light combo to this new one. The picatinny rail was a feature that drew me to this particular pistol. Plus, Im kinda getting tired of looking at black guns and wanted some bling.
