Default after the 'beer summit' . . .

The way powerful people treat those who have less power than they do said volumes about them. In this case, this picture tells us that the president simply can't be bothered to help his infirm 'friend' down the stairs and instead leaves that task to the very police officer he belittled in front of the entire nation. This question is just begging to be asked: who's acting stupidly now?

Brews on at table:
I heard there was a Sam Adams lite,a Blue Moon, and I don't remember the other.
Biden had a non-al brew.

I agree, the Pres and the VP were a bit under-dressed.

Obama had a Bud Light, Gates wanted Red Stripe but they couldn't find it, no wonder they have trouble finding 20 million illegals they can't even come up with a six pack. Biden probably already had a half quart of vodka down by then and didn't want to mix.

I think it was BS PR, but I suspect the reason Our Fearless Leader was in shirt sleeves was because, "you don't wear a suit when kickin' back with your buds havin' a brewski". Just tryin' to fit in with us "little people". I'm sure his PR woman told him how to dress. And, tell the truth now. If he had been wearin' a suit, wouldn't y'all be complaining, "My God, he's dressed for a formal White House dinner, just to have a beer!"?

I agree, Alpo, pure PR. "let's look like the ordinary folk." Besides, Michelle had all the J. Crew stuff in the washer. TJ

Terry P,
For the record, Biden is a non-drinker.

Negative impressions of drinking alcohol in the Biden and Finnegan (Mother's family) families and in the neighborhood (Scranton, PA) led to Joe Biden becoming a 'teetotaler'.
