Default cannon breech

have a 12g s/s in fair shape with the numbers stamped behind the trigger housing "125". I believe it was made by hopkins and allen. Any additional info or age is appreciated.

Default Re: cannon breech

Shotguns with the name Cannon Breech are "Trade Brand Name" shotguns and were made by Stevens Arms & Tool Company, Harrington & Richardson Arms Co and Hopkins & Allen. They were made for and sold by the Simmons Hardware Company of St. Louis, MO. The number you give is the serial number of the gun.
