I have a US made Shrade Old Timer. Should I keep carrying it in my pocket every day or should I stick it in my collection?

One of my favorite pocket knives is a little Old Timer mini stockman that my dad bought me back when I was 10 or 11. It's still with me today and it gets it's turn in my carry "rotation" every couple weeks or so. (I've lost it around the farm a couple times...but like a bad penny it has always turned up!)
