Can anyone tell me what kind of silver finish is on the 1911 Ciener conversion?
I'm considering 1 at the moment that is Silver??? Also using it on my Gold Cup Trophy. What's 1 with non-adjustable sights and 3 mags. worth? Any pro's/con's I should be aware of??? Thanks for your time,
-->

Should work great on Gold Cup Trophy. I've shot mine on Series 70 GC NM, Norinco and Kimber with VG results. I love mine.
See Cabela's for prices. Go to Jonathan Arthur Ciener to see pic & prices. Fixed sight unit is $199.99. One mag comes with unit. Extra mags are $35 Don |

Gun List had 'em from Ceiner, Direct, for $179 with either Ceiner, or Kimber roll marks (they were both in the ad) on Dec 19.
Obviously, NIB. The Kimbers were an overrun, if that means anything. Mine work GREAT!

I have not personally seen a silver unit. The blued unit looks pretty good.
I heard that the Kimber mags are polymer and have caused some problems. Don't know this for a fact though. The original Ciener mags are alum. and work good. Other than that and the Kimber logo on the slide I believe the units are the same. |
