I never used to miss opening day. My current "career" has awful hours, 5:45am till 8:00 am. Then I go back @ 2:30pm till 8:15pm. I miss prime time.
Anyway, if there are any stories to be told, I'd like to hear 'em.

I went, lets just say I bagged MY limit. Never with more than 15 birds in my possesion at one time. But we had a blast, I went this morning and evening.

I went out for the afternoon hunt. saved the grain field for saturday, so the alternate site was slow. With about 10 hunters, it would have been a great hunt, keeping the birds in the air.

Yeah it helps if you got a bunch of guns to stir 'em up. I had a pond scouted out a couple weeks ago, quite a few flying. Since, it has rained its ass off, here, water standing everywhere. Also has cooled off, this week. May need a better plan. What a guy needs to find is a roost. Now that is some action.
