Can anyone tell me the model and manufacture date of a Mossberg .410 shotgun. The serial number is 506124.

The Model # is stamped right on the barrel...what does it say?
As far as the date, 1968 or later is as close as you can get. They had no serial numbers before 1968.

I was able to thin it down a little.
The 183T shows up first in the 1973 catalog and is absent from the 1978 catalog. But...sometimes catalogs aren't updated to match exactly what was offered. Here's a link to Mossberg shotgun catalogs. http://home.epix.net/~damguy/mossber...ge_catalog.htm
