A beautiful way to start a collection. The first one I ever bought was a 36 caliber black powder revolver. Way back when I was 18.

my first handgun was a Kimber Gold Match II and it was a great first! Welcome to the club once you go 1911 anything else just doesnt do it. I own several other handguns but only 2 that are not 1911's. Enjoy your new toy!
