Years ago I had George Madore make me an IPSIC pistol. He used a single stack Caspian frame, a bar-sto barrel and put a compensator on the muzzle. It was so accurate that I used it in some bullseye matches too. Just iron adjustable sights, no optics.
Later I had Bielert fit a Colt stainless slide and barrel for carry and that worked out very well too. Does George's work still get a lot of respect? I've been out of the sport for decades now. Don't know if George is still alive. Looking for information on the value of a pistol made by him.

I heard that George is no longer with us. I have not seen one of his weapons in a long time. Someone over on the 1911 Forum still owns one - or at least use to.
