Just found this forum, and while looking for a place to contribute for my first post, I found this thread. It’s old, but I do have a photo to contribute. I like knives, but never carry them around. This one was hand made locally for me as a retirement gift. The handle is made from a redwood burl.

That is gorgeous!
Nice looking blade also.
have some quilted redwood
for the handle of a blade
design i've been working on.
I collect old mistreated blades,
and give them life. they all get used

Gold beach is just down the rd. about an hr. or so.

Welcome to the forum from Coquille

Thanks. The knife is very heavy and well balanced and a work of art. I’ve probably flown over Coquille more than I’ve driven thru it over the years.

Gotta be careful flying around
Coquille, unless yer high up.
We have a few around here that take offense
and have no compunction of tossing a few
rounds. Oregon hillbilly's, what can i say
The guys in the black helicopters carry and shoot back.
It's so funny, I don't think anybody has ever
hit anything tho.
