hello just wondering if anybody can tell me what this rifle is worth i just paid $150.00 for it is in excellent condition just got it from an antique shop it has front swivel peep sight and a 4x mossberg scope any help would be greatly appreciated

You did just fine in excellent conditon.....very fine. Does it have the full length magazine tube (post war) or the short magazine (not full length). Does it have all three sights intact? Scope is always a plus....for these old rifles. Welcome!! Regards LTS

It has the full length magazine tube also looks like the short 4x mossberg scope dont know though it is not very long no rear peep sight. Just three swivel front sights that fold down to choose which one you like i quess.

Made from 1938 to 1950. Yours would be towards the later, being post war. Sorry to hear the rear micro-meter sight is missing...but there out there fairly cheap. Regards LTS
