Seller says its in 98%-99% condition and I will examine it this weekend. The question: Is it worthwhile? Will a Marlin shoot as well or almost as well? Am I buying a name or some real performance? The Bluebook says $500. Can you be more specific. WELCOME TOO!! My understanding (from telephone with the guy) is that its a 1416D, w/checkered wood stock. He said he got it from a german many years ago, who in turn brought it from Germany at that time. That's all I know about it. Don`t guess you could get hurt at $400.00....my book shows it @ $465.00 in 98% or better. I`m not sure if they bring book or over book, unless a special or older model. Good Luck.....22`s are great!!!! LTS
