With duck season coming up, I need to get a case or two of shells, but I cant afford them high dollar prices they have in the stores around here. Is there anywhere y'all know of to get a good deal on some 12 ga 3" steel shot? Thanks.

Cabelas has Sellier & Bellot shells that are cheaper than the rest. Never used them so I can't vouch for quality. You can order them or get them in a Cabelas store if you have one close by. Estate shells are usually reasonable, and while not as common as Federal, Remington, etc. they are in a lot of sporting goods stores and are good shells.

S&B's, Estates all shoot just fine. The ducks won't be able to tell the difference.
Did you try Wally world? They usually stock up this time of year. |

In the short run the previous posts are good suggestions, longer term look at reloading your own. I shoot skeet during the winter and decided to start loading my own. I picked up a MEC Steelmaster and use it to load skeet and steel waterfowl loads. Having said that if you go through a half dozen boxes of steel a year it probably won't be worth it.
