I have a Browning BL lever action, a Glenfield and Springfield single shot, a Winchester 270 pump, Lakefield bolt action clip but the one I love to play with the most is an old Mossberg model 46B army trainer with peep sights. Like it so much that today I bought a Mossberg 151Mb and a Cooey model 82 army trainer. Just love shooting those old 22's!

out of several guns, for me,my mossberg640 chuckster is all around hard to beat.my most fun to plink or "trick shoot" is BLR22 or winchester 77.my stock 1022 I can't shoot as accurate.Probably havent found its favorite ammo.May have to exclude the mossberg cause its .22wmr.my s shot winchester 67 shoots exc. too. #@*! now i don't know, the're all my favorites sorry, i posted this before i actually read the other thread.

Beats it at what? Accuracy, build, etc.? I could say the same thing about my GSG-5 and my Colt M4 .22. I just bought a SIG SG522 so I am curious why you think the S&W "beats" the SIG. My Colt and GSG-5 are one hole accurate from 25-50 yards. I would assume that the SIG will be the same using the same optics I use on the other two, a 4x scope. So I say again, beats it at what?

Favorite 22LR Rifle for hunting is Charles Daly 22LR Superior with several Mods. Target rifle is a modified Remington 540X with Eley Tenex Ammo.

Only one I have is a Remington 597. Would like to try a Ruger 10/22 to see why people like them so much.

i have a savage MKII bolt action thats a great shooter
ruger 10/22 was my first. mossberg plinkster that i wish i could find a hi-cap mag for. my favorite one is my henry. it has beautiful wood and bluing. the action is smooth as silk, and its very accurate. i shoot it some, not as much as the others. now that you got me thinking of it, it's been awhile since i took it out of the safe and give it a wipedown.thanks... |

Best quality & most accurate I ever had was a Remington 550. I , also loved the Remington Nylon 66 , but it was not as accurate as the 550.

Gosh, I can't pick one. I had a first model 1933 Woodsman "Sport" that was awfully nice. A PP/S in .22. Four or five Rugers of various MKs, from '53 to '09. A '58 S&W mod 18. Then there are the rifles. The 10/22 or the Marlin 60, hard choice, but the 10/22 wins that one. TJ

I have four .22 rifles and I'd say that my favorite is my Rossi Gallery gun, it's great for target shooting and for small game hunting.

My vote would be for the Marlin 60. I learned how to shoot with it and it would be the last .22 I ever parted with.
