Not sure if this goes here, it isn't really "Competitive" Shooting. Just went out with my old man and shot off some rounds at the local gun range. Both of these are my two best targets. Unfortunately my dad threw away his targets so I can't take any pictures of them...
![]() I was shooting a Taurus PT1911 .45ACP. It was a pretty nice gun. Little bit of recoil, but I enjoyed shooting it. I had quite a few torso shots. One in the neck, a couple in the private parts (I had another shot in the privates on my other blue target), and one in the head on the black target. I also had one that narrowly missed the head if you can see it. My dad landed a few more on target than I did, but he's also a deer hunter and he's better at longer range than I am. He was shooting a Glock 17 in 9mm which is probably more accurate than the PT1911. Had a blast, hope to go again with my RIA. ![]()

Looks good 129, keep shooting, everyone can get better if they practice. Keep us up to date on how fast you improve.

Yeah it was my first time shooting at the range. I really hope to get out and try out my new 1911 in the next couple weekends. But I have to go and get some ammunition too and I hear .45ACP isn't exactly cheap these days.

I'm up in Wisconsin. I had relatives that lived down there for awhile and would move around between there and Aurora, IL in the winter & summer. I really like it down there. But there are crappy parts. Went to a soccer tournament that my sister played in at Cocoa Beach. I thought it was a crappy part of town. Everything seemed old and run-down except for some of the stores right in town. Miami and Fort Lauderdale are definitely better areas. I even liked Tampa and Naples more than Cocoa Beach.

Yeah. Lots of farmland. Lots of country. Not much around when you go north of Madison or Milwaukee. The Dells is about the only thing around up there. Lots of tourist attractions. I go up there once in awhile. It's fun. They have a really nice strip club there and Noah's Ark theme park is pretty cool.

lmao! no i shot them while they were out on the range. these are just pics I took of them when I got home. I didn't bring my camera to the range. I have a really nice digital camera so I don't like to take it away from home when I don't have to.
