Question Sling and Oiler for IBM M1 Carbine

I am looking for a sling and oiler for my 1950's era IBM M1 Carbine. I have tried one website that sells reproductions, but the item gets very poor reviews, including one that stated the sling and oiler did not fit the customer's IBM M1. My questions is...is there a website or company that I can find a sling and oiler that would fit my M1? Is does not matter if it is original or a replica. As always, any information is appreciated.

Cheaper than dirt advertises them for $19.95. They are probably new
re-pros. Use your search engine there is a lot of stuff out there.

Welcome to the Forum, cadria04.

Numrich arms has M1 Carbine "stuff" listed on their website. Here is a link to the M1 Carbine accessories page, the oilers and slings are near the bottom of the page.

Note:

The original WWII carbine sling was fairly thin and it is that sling the stock cut was made for. Late WWII and postwar GI slings are made of a heavy weave and much thicker. That makes them very hard to get into the stock. It is easy to solve the problem by using a file to trim a bit off the inside of the stock cutout where it will never be noticed. I have seen people smash the oiler flat, take a grinder to the sling, or even use a big hammer to drive the sling into place because, they told me, to touch the stock would make it unoriginal.
