Hi all,
This is my first 1911, it's a Springfield Loaded Parkerized. I have been shooting a Beretta 92fs witch I do like a lot, but I needed more so the 1911 was it. I also have a Ciener .22lr conversion for the 92fs witch works great. Think I will learn a lot here, I have been reading all I can on the 1911s. Some of you guys are just full of so much info. Hope to get out to the range some time this week should be fun. Richard Ok here's some pics. ![]() ![]()

Welcome to the Forum, Richard. I don't know if anyone has mentioned it or not, but you need to post some pictures of that Springfield!

hey welcome. diggin the springfield. i almost bought a springfield mil-spec 1911 but went with the ria instead for price reasons. cool pistol though. range report would be cool too. a friend of mine from work has a '94 92FS and he says it's easy to get your finger caught by the slide. i love 1911s. what size barrel does yours have?

Welcome to TFF. As you probably noticed most of us are fans of everything sharp, shiney, or making a loud boom
