I like the Operator ones. How much is shipping and handling for these?

My Springfield Operator TRP came with the G 10 grips. Aggressive? You bet. To me though, they feel great. You sure wont drop your gun when firing. Plus, they look really look cool.

Those grips give the gun a real "tactical" look... and having just spent 3 gruelling days at the Shot Show... that is the "IN" look... I was also told that there is also a safety feature to the G-10... should a round inadvertently go off in the grip... shrapnel and stuff will exit the bottom... vs the sides if the grips were wood or plastic. Maybe someone should snope that.

I worked as a design engineer virtually all my life. I hated the sales types for making such claims... Its almost absurd if you think about it. Much like buying a car insurance policy because it would also cover you if you are trampled during a monsoon in Times Square by a water buffalo. And... even if the material in the grip was "strong enough" to retain the results of a round going off in a mag, I would imagine that claim would only be valid if that was the one and only round in the mag... otherwise.!!! :-)
