Will this work for my Ishapore? - The Firearms Forum

Hello all,

I am about to join a World War One British Group. I know the Ishapore is not WWI especially since the year "1965" is engraved near the trigger guard. How ever I have told I can get by with using it. My only other problem is the square magazine. I have been able to fit the .303 mag in it, but can I run 7.62 mm blanks through it?

Just tried it
The 1st 7.62 blank will sit in a smle mag but the 2nd won't seat and will just pop out....so , no it won't work.
Which rifle do you have ..the 2A or 2A1 ?
The P'07 bayo fits and other than the square mag thats about it for visual difference.
Otherwise have FUN !!! and don't let it bother you .
You can always tell the others , your a soldier from the future...lol
