Remember not to load pointy bullets in your tube magazines!
Winchester 30-30 Lever Action Shooting V-Max Remember not to load pointy bullets in your tube magazines! After load development I took 4 shots, three at 100 yards and one at 300. These two shots are 2 and 4. I missed shot 1 just high actually nipped the lid ever so slightly. Shot 3 hit the steel mid height/right, you can see the mark in the video. I am going to use the V-Max in the 30-30 for most of the time. I only ever load it with one bullet right before I shoot anyway, so the pointy bullets aren't a problem. The powder is up the neck 1/8", I set the bullet right on the lands; there may be a 1/4" empty space in the case. 2 more grains powder over the VIHT N 135 for 90fps less speed... about the same trajectory at 300. I like the V-Max with either powder, I like the versatility I have now.

Open sights at 300 yards is fine shooting in anyone's book. Well done!
