Hello Group,
I was wondering what you guys know/think about re-chambering rounds after cleaning ect. I have done it for years and just recently read that it is very dangerous due to "set back". I use Fed hydros jhp +p's and inspected my rounds and don't see any visible sign of this issue. thoughts???

If you are afraid of said "set back", then check the length of the bullets you are re-chambering. I, personally, have never had such a problem.

Its a common problem in autos with exceptionally strong springs and cartridges loaded with blunt projectiles. They tend to drag on the ramp harder than say a round projectile and given the stout recoil spring they may set back in the case causing a high pressure load. Its a rare occurence overall but most common with cast lead handloads. Most jacketed and factory ammo is relatively hard the set back...
