Kool-Aid. With plastic flowers floating in it.
Dill pickles wrapped in cream cheese slathered bread, sliced thin. Head cheese.

Head cheeze,
Now that is some thing I had along time ago. My dad gave some to me with breakfast, and didn't tell me what it was until I asked.....yuck. Memorable, just not a good one. Regards, Kirk |

My Daddy grew up in south Georgia, during the depression. Worked on his cousin's farm during the summers. So he ate all kinds of weird nasty stuff. Rutabagas. Stewed okra, tomatoes and white bread. Not a slice of bread on the side - chunks of bread in the pot with the okra and tomatoes. Just plain slimy nasty stuff. But he told me, once. "Boy, don't you eat head cheese. That stuff will kill you."

With all these food groups, this will be quite the shindig.

Hey now...that's good, ever had it? My neighbor made that for me once. She was about 100 when she died, but damn that lady could cook. She called herself a "Salt and Pepper Cook"
