I would really like to see everyones Remington 700`s. I know that there are many different stocks, etc. available and I would like to see, from this forum, how many different ones you guys have and also I would like to see if there is a more common variation used by everyone.
Thanks

Jack if I had the Cash I would jump all over that. Not that I am an excelent marksman but becouse I just want to go to down there and give it a whack. I got only two or three rifles that will get out t that far easily, the sad part is I have only got 1 scope that would give me a decent chance since I believe I am goin blind and its on my .338 win mag.

I would ask that the poll simply be voted upon. It`s just a question of opinions. Please post your pictures of any Remington 700 rifles if you have them. Thanks

I have a rem.700 in adl 243, a 700 hb 243 and a 700 in 7mm-08 hb all 26" in lenght barrels. the only thing i ever did to them where to reset the triggers. I really like the model 700 rem. I think they where one of the best rem. ever made. Thats my .02

I have a 700classic in 7mm-08Rem and a Custom shop KS mountain rifle in .338Win. Both shoot anywhere from 5/8" to 7/8" groups depending on the load & bullet selection. I have had both for over 20 yrs.
As to the thousand yard shots, it is a very small number of people that have REAL experience at that range, that are actually capable of that shot. Nowadays with rangefinders, if you can get them to actually range the target, it is still a krapshoot to hit something, even as big as an elk or moose, at that range. Kill shots? Odds are getting pretty low. And it really belongs in the class of target shooting, I can't say as that should really be called hunting, I doubt if those folks really care about what they shoot at or what happens to it. Likely too much trouble to find it afterwards.

Here is a couple of pis of my Rem 700 tactical .223 20" Heavy barrell ,Have just had a Badger ordnance bolt knob fitted and had it suppressed for shooting in built up areas ,It is very quiet now ,but i do still love the bang when shooting unsuppressed,It has a SIGHTMARK 8.5-25X50 Tactical scope with mildot retical ,which is a great scope in my opinion, This rig may be heavy but its the ultimate bunny and magpie buster Imo,and i dont mind carrying it on the farm, Also a pic of my newly purchased Remington 870 Security 12g 7shot, choked ,with Knoxx recoil reducing stock set,Another beautiful firearm built by Remington, Enjoy

It's actually a 40X Repeater in 7.62 NATO but it's considered a 700 variation. Just a "Custom Shop" variation
