Hi,
I have a Sig P228 that I took down to detail clean it. I put it all back together and attempted to put the slide on it kept jamming. So basically, as I put the slide on and I attempt to lock it back it doesn't go. I looked on the inside and noticed the barrel is actually hitting the locking insert in the frame. I thought maybe it was off a little and it would work itself out, but it is getting stuck by the ramp. The ramp on the barrel is hitting the locking insert.. Any ideas on why this is happening and how to remedy it?

sounds to me that the slide catch lever is not properly installed. Barrel misalignment on the 228 comes from it not sitting properly in the slide.
