Got the Gevarms sorted out. Took off the small scope and put on something I could see through. (Blind as a bat!!). Attached a Parker-hale silencer.
Took it down to local range and put about 150 rounds through. VERY ACCURATE at 100 mtrs. Took a couple of pics. (Please dont laugh at me cos its not nice to mock the afflicted.)

Looks nice. How long is that can? Got a picture of the target?
I am finally getting into making a silencer for my 22's. It is much more expensive in the States as we have to pay a $200 tax just to get permission to make parts though. It will be good to finally put my lathe to good use. ![]() |

Shopnut,
Sorry for delay in reply. Rushed into hospital with heart trouble. Sorted now. Didn't take any pics of target. Will next time I am allowed to go. |

No problem. Friggin ECG says I have an abnormal heartbeat. FAA does not want to clear me to fly solo, so I have to get a stress test to get back in their good graces. Aging sucks.
I finished my 22lr silencer. Looks nice with a matte blued tube and stainless end caps. Have yet to see how it sounds though. |
