Default Rock Island Armory 1911 compact

Hello everyone...Thought I would share my new experience with Rock Island Armory's 1911 subcompact... I love this gun!!! I have been a 1911 fan my whole life, but most of the time I had always only looked toward big named manufactures like Springfield or Cold, even Wilson's Combat.

However here recently I stumbled upon a deal I just could not turn down. I found a Rock Island Armory 1911 compact, that favors the famous Kimber Ultra carry. For the price of a whopping 375.00 USD I just could not turn it down.

I bought the pistol and took it to the rang the next day. Put 200 rounds through it without a single malfunction. Of course I will continue to test this pistol until it's broke in( around 500 rounds or so) I was surprised to find just how tight this guns was. I am very happy with my purchase and for the price just don't think I could have done any better.

If your interested I will be writing a full review of this pistol on my blog as well as many more reviews over several other different pistols. Please stop buy and check out my blog now and again.

Please be patient though my blog is still under construction.

I was wondering if there were any others out there that have experience with Rock Island Armory and If so please let me know what you think about them

RIA's are good guns. I had the 1911A1 .45 for awhile before I got my Springfield Loaded.
