Hey everyone
I have recently bought a new knife and through use I guess I somehow got rust on it. Can someone tell me how to remove the rust without ruining the blade its a benchmade knife. Thanks

I'd use Simichrome in a very mild 3M "scotchbrite" abrasive pad.

if its just surface rust you can take a coarse warshcloth and some oil and rub it off. for anything that is more stubborn you can use 0000 steel wool and oil but the knife will never look perfect again. now, it has character

Don't use a Scothbrite pad-it will mar the blade finish.
WD 40 on a coarse cloth should remove most of the rust. If the rust is heavy, substitute 0000 steel wool for the cloth. |

Vinegar will discolor the blade, unless it is high chromium content stainless steel.
