I either payed 600 or 700 for mine. I beleive it was 600, but dont quote me on that. If somebody knows how much a S&W costs, it's about $200 less than that. I saw in a gun trader book that they were 550 NIB about 2 years ago.

My book is a few years old, but MSRP for blue is $490. SS is $547.

I have shopped on and off for one of those nice stainless Super Redhawks in .44 Magnum with the 7 1/2 in barrel and never broke down and bought it. Best price I found was $549 at Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World in Nashville, TN and Academy Sporting Goods for the same price. Everytime I talk myself into going and get one, I find some other toy that ties up my play money. I love my local dealer, but they can't order me one for what both of those other place stock them for. Someday I will buy it, but I just bought a used 20ga Mossburg to refinish and a nice model 66 S&W .357 to put by the bed.

Too many guns, not enough money!
