Default used 9 shot .22 revolver

I want a 9 shot .22 caliber revolver. It appears on the used market the best available is the High Standard Sentinel and/or the H&R 999 Sportsman. Most favor the H&R 999.What do you guys think?

Can't speak for the High Standard.
Between my brother and me, we do have 10 Sportsman models from 1936 to 1980 though, and I like every one!!

1936

1938

1939

1951

1955

1955

1980

1980

My only experience is with the HS but that was over thirty years ago. What I do remember is that it was a tin can busting, plinking son of a gun. Fed it anything and everything and it expended it all with total reliability. A really fun revolver.

Old High Standard's tend to be more precise than the folks holding them
