Default Iver Johnson used to assassinate Mckinley

Where is this gun today? What is the serial number?
So far this is the only picture I've found and I'm not 100% sure this is the actual gun:

Is this the actual gun?

Some other sites said the gun was a hammerless IJ. I don't know who is right. I'm assuming the real gun is in a museum somewhere

If this is the gun I have almost exactly the same thing.I know they made millions of these things but I still think it's sort of interesting. I think Bill Goforth said mine was made in 1895 and the McKinley gun was made in 1896. Here's mine:

Presidential assassin Leon Czolgosz shot and killed U.S. President William McKinley in Buffalo, New York on 6 September 1901 with an Iver Johnson .32 caliber Safety Automatic revolver (serial number 463344). The revolver is currently on display at the Buffalo & Erie County Historical Society in Buffalo.

the above information is correct if you put replace the first digit of the serial number with an A instead of the 4 listed.

Thanks Bill! I was hoping you would comment! I think you are probably right. It would be easy to mistake a "4" for an "A".
