Default Most modern movies, music, and commercials don't....

Just don't make any sense.....

I say most because some I do like. I get a kick out of Sci-Fi movies and all. But most don't make any sense at all. Modern music is about as senseless....
And as far as commercials go....between the Quiznos "we love the subs" and Geiko's commercials with the little Gekko in them....

I dunno....

Anyone who has ever given up on tv for any real length of time and then watched a few of them will understand this completely.....They're just plum wacky.

But then again, this whole world is just a little wacky for that matter......
You know it's true !!!

I agree 100%.
Most modern day entertainment is geared toward a pedestrian degenerate mind.
Just look at the culture promoted on reality shows. From eating bugs to gossip about who is getting voted off where and who is getting hired by a worm like Trump.
It is a carefully orchestrated plan to promote a secular world view where instant gratification is superimposed upon personal responsiblity and accountability.
I enjoy the Outdoors Living Network and also The History Channel. Whatever happened to those hearty things that make America great. The Boy Scouts, great shows like Gunsmoke, Bonanza and great movies with John Wayne. This is the spirit that makes America great, and not some Joe Shmuck Millionaire who is surrounded by superficial whores.
Just look at the Superbowl half time shows where music like rap is promoted which endorses the raping of women and the killing of cops. There is still hope. We must endorse advertisers who advetise in proper publications and promote hearty and American values on TV and elsewhere.
There is still hope Mike, but not until we act with our wallets and show them that we are tired of their degenerate attempts to enslave us and subvert our values with their pagan agenda.

Glocknut, you have to understand that 99% of today's programming is geared toward the "sound bite" generation. Most people today have the attention span of a mosquito. So everything must be done in sound bites. This even, unfortunately, includes politics. But advertising and entertainment have been dumbed down to the lowest level of complexity possible while still being entertaining enough to keep people from changing the channel.

It's easy to understand why people around the world think America is a degenerate nation. If our television programming is indicative of our culture, then we're in serious trouble.

TV(devilvision), the greatest tool ever invented

to condition, influence, dumbdown, deceive,

subvert thru behavior modification.

I also call it the devils eyeball.

You might call it something else.

Shiz, I have to agree with your opinion of the Evil Cyclops 1000%!!!

I don't mind watching a few select shows every now and then, but for the most part, I detest 99.9999% of TV fare these days.

TV is a drug. It draws you into a stuper. Makes you unmotivated, not wanting to leave it, look what happens when try to take a kid away from it. TV produces every emotion in humans too; hate and anger, fear and suspense, even love and care. Great tool for the gov't though, they can produce any emotion in us they want just by showing the right news pictures. But ya gotta enjoy it for what it is worth, a little entertainment. Laughing at stupidity is my favorite passtime.
Love and fear the electronic drug!

That's a very good point. I never really thought about it that way. I've always known that it's a waste of time watching television (except for a few select programs, most of which are on the History Channel), but I never put too much thought into the indoctrination thing. You're absolutely right. Television does control emotion. It is very effective at that. And by controlling emotion, ideas can be planted. People just naturally assume that when someone says something on TV, it must be true. It's kinda like seeing it in print. Or on the internet. It must be true!

Speaking of the internet, I fear that it's probably even worse than television as far as spreading lies. The internet may be even better than television for spreading propaganda. But it doesn't suck you into the emotional state that television does.

Hmm, this is worth some deep thinking. I hope I have enough brain cells left for that. Damn that television!

And, don't forget, a lot of this stuff is produced and performed by totally drugged up people.

I think TV these days suck the big noodle myself! I probably watch about 2-3 hrs a week, if that! We mostly watch DVDs because the local stations are getting way too potty mouth for the kiddo's! I do however, enjoy watching PBS with their specials that come on now and then!

Mainly, I'm here reading Your Post's @ The Firearms Forum!

Semper Fi!

PBS is now controlled by the militant socialist globalist cabal. I would recommend the History Channel in lieu of it.
