Default Femaru M37 nickled magazine

I just bought another M37; the gun is the original blue, but the mag was nickled. Somewhere I thought I read a nickled Femaru was rare and I also understand some GI's had them nickled post-war.

Does anyone know if there was a nickled version made by Femaru or is this someones idea of how to make this look prettier.

Thanks

Yes, IIRC, some of those magazines were nickel plated, but the ones made for the Germans were not. If someone else has better info, we would appreciate it.

FWIW, I don't recall much nickel plating of magazines; the usual practice was to nickel or chrome plate the whole gun. For example, chrome plated Lugers are fairly common and most owners seem to believe they were some kind of special gun, maybe owned by Hitler, when in fact they were owned by an ex-GI whose brother ran a bumper plating shop.
