Default Fettuccine Alfredo

We had our granddaughter Alexa this afternoon while her Mommy did a few errands and some shopping. They were staying for dinner so I made some basil fettuccine in an Alfredo sauce, some grilled chicken tenders and fresh steamed broccoli. Salad for starter and brownies to finish.

Recipes for the pasta and sauce are on my website at www.flyfishohio.us

You're killing me here!!!!

Thanks, Joe... I still haven't tried my hand at pasta yet, but it's on the bucket list.

For God's sake don't wait THAT long. Bed Bath & Beyond has a pasta machine similar to mine (Thrift store find for $15) for $34.99, less the 20% coupon that comes in the paper and mail all the time. There's nothing like fresh pasta. I make white and whole wheat pasta for ravioli, fettuccine and spaghetti all the time, and put herbs like basil and parsley in the dough as well. I just finished the leftovers from last night for lunch. Urp!
