Default Serial number range for model 29-2

According to John Taffin the 29-2 started at serial number S270000, yet I have one marked mod 29-2 S235xxx and it came with coke grips.

Any info like date of manufacture and the serial number cut off for 29-1 would be appreciated.

your gun was made near the end of 1964. the 29-2 started in 1962.

Supica lists the 29-2 as beginning around S220000, not S270000.
