I have someone that wants to trade a Calico Liberty 111 9mm for my Eotech 557 red dot sight. They have about the same value at least I think they do. Question is does anyone know anything about Calico firearms? I have never heard of them until recently. Just wonder how well they are made? Any help would be appreciated.

I had access to one back in the early to mid 90s (yeap they've been around that long). It was a fun gun to shoot, very reliable with reasonable accuracy. They have always been quite pricy. If you get one see if you can find the mag loading tool. I don't see it on their site any more. It's a long day stuffing 50/100 rounds into that cylinder. It's also helpful if you get a catch bag for the brass that attaches to the ejection port. The brass ejects out the bottom and gets under your feet. Not good for the brass or your traction if you're in a desperate situation.
