Talking Springfield M1 Garand Help

I just bought a SA M1 Garand and would like to know more info about it. All I know is that it looks to be in good condition and the receiver serial dates it to 1942. I can email pictures to whoever thinks they could help identify it's history and value. Please provide an email or you can email me directly at: texasaggie09@live.com

Thanks.
