Default PRK Intrafamilial Handgun Transaction

Hello All,

Has anyone living in the PRK had to deal with the California's Intrafamilial Handgun Transaction?

I understand that the transfer can only go up or down the family tree (parent/child, grandparent/grandchild) and not across (from a sibling to a sibling or outside..no cousins).

Also does anyone know how long the receiving party needs to hold possesion of the handgun before a second Intrafamilial Handgun Transaction can take place on the same handgun? ie 1st son to the father, then father to second son?

Thanks

-->
