Default Newest Blackhawk Purchase

I didn't go crazy with the picks cause I am sure you all have seen a new blackhawk before. This one is .357 with the 9mm cylinder. 9mm should be easier on the pocket book than .357 mag. Feels awesome in the hand.

She's a real beauty Mr. Fleet! In my book all Blackhawks and Super Blackhawks are beautiful. Congrats on your new toy.

I held one at a gun store yesterday, also was looking at these online. They do feel good in the hand.I like the clik-clik-clik the cylinder makes when you turn it.I got the Black-Hawk fever too.

Very Nice; the price can't be beat either. The last one I looked at around here was in the $460+ range.

you eject each one by hand with the ejector rod, it pushes the casing out from the inside so you don't need a rim. the 9mm cartrige has casing outside the bullet, so there is a stop in the cylinder that keeps the brass from going forward.

that is the main reason I bought it. I think it will be awesome shooting 9mm from a single action revolver. I may use for deer, but would prefer 44mag.

Dont feel bad Zane, most of us never get to shoot a Blackhawk or any gun for that matter in our living room.

Zane shoots in his living room!?! WOW! I use to enjoy shooting mice scampering from one wall to the other but that was in an old run down cabin back in the woods.

Sometimes, one just cant make it to the range and has to "make due" with the surroundings! The caldwell e-max muffs works great!
Nice Blackhawk, FW!

My Blackhawk arrived back in early 80's, and is still the most accurate gun in the house. I did put a pair of pachmayr grips on it to steady the beast's bucking and rearing, but after all these years, it is still my "Go to" gun when I want to hit the bull. I use the 9 mm cylinder as a test gage when I reload 9's, if it fits there, the round is good to go in any 9.

Good choice, great gun.

I didn't even know the .357 Blackhawk had a 9mm cylinder available. I may have to invest in that. One handgun that is capable of shooting 3 different calibers would be very nice!
