Default Colt Diamondback question...

A friend has one of these (in 2.5'' bbl) that belonged to his father, and wants to find date of mfr. Anyone know of a published chart or some such device to determine date of mfr by using the SerNo of the gun? Thx...

If you publish the serial number here, you can X out the last two or three numbers, we can try looking it up for you. Or try the Gun Traders or Blue Book of Gun Values for info.

Neither of those publications have dates for the Diamondback.

Please either reply with the sn or send me a PM and I can date your revolver for you.
