Default Blade Show knives!

Here is a trio of full custom Leverlettos that I made for this years Blade Show.
The mini is 1/2 size, the engraved knife is full sized (7-1/2" open), and the huge one is 1-1/2 size. All have 1095 carbon steel, brass liners and nickel silver fittings. Mini has pearl handles, the engraved knife has jigged bone, and the huge one has buffalo horn.

If its none of my business, just say so, but if not, what would a set like that cost? I wouldnt have the slightest idea.

Sorry Bill, I had forgotten I asked the question. I wouldnt sneeze at that price if I was in the market for a set like that. While I am no where near a knife expert, I can spot quality and expert work when I see it. So, please dont be offended that I didnt reply sooner. They are beautiful.

Beautiful Bill.

Forgive my ignorance, but are they switch blades?
What's the buckle/hinged thingy?

Bill,

"Spectacular", to say the very least.....they will have something to talk about at the blade show.

They are automatics. The lever flips down for "safe" and up for "fire." The lever lock is probably the safest mechanism for automatics.
Thanks, everyone!

What do you mean by 'automatics'?

I take it then that the hinged thing is spring loaded and controls a pin that locks the blade open/closed?

Would this be construed as a 'gravity fed' knife? That would be illegal for me to carry. Laws here are really goofy.

Bob try em here , a auto knife will get you 5 years .. unless your muslim

but the law says mandatory 5 years same for a gun ..

i gotta take my walking around knife outta its pouch and leave in the truck if i go get fuel or such in town to save the hassle and risk

How did you do at the show, Bill. I meant to go on Saturday but forgot all about it. I was planning on looking for an old knife maker friend of mine by the name of William McHenry.

We did great at the show.
Bill McHenry is an old friend, though we have never met, we have talked on the phone quite a bit. I don't believe he does the Blade Show.

You know Bill lives in Rhode Island, and when he told me to come out to see his work shop, he invited me to his Wyoming Ranch. I told him I could not afford to fly out to Wyoming and he and Jason got a good laugh. I did not know that there was a tiny town in RI named Wyoming!!

I have one of his knives, a folder - Number XXVI. His folders were kind of "klunky" back then, he sure has gotten better over the years.

I do believe you might be right about him not doing Blade. Last year I talked with some of the people at the Benchmade display. One of them told me that he didn't come to the Blade show and I just assumed that it was just last year. Oh well, one of these days I will be going up to Cape Cod area and I will stop by and visit his ranch!!
